rough draft of story script for the game part 2


C:Booo,ayry. Boooooooooo.I can be hardworking once in a while too you know!And the nations have been at peace for at least 100 years!we just played tea fort 2 with the guardian of nation A last week!also,Whats an class W incident again? 

A:Did you fall from a high place and got amnesia?That's something you are supposed to know.

C:nope.avi

A: Class W incidents are the kind of incident that is world ending to the point where the 3 nations had to work together despite their ideological differences,the last time one happened is at least 200 years ago.

A:Enough chit chat,if you come back to the office now,i would even help you out with the millions of paper work.

C:Actually,Ayry,I have a counter offfer.

A:Shoot

C:My game needs playtesting!If you would help me out,then i would return to the office and you would get your job done.Deal?

A:Deal.

C:Pinky promise?

A:what are you,5 years old?

C:Then i would be the youngest guardian in history!

A:You already are,dummy.

A:Let's begin.

C:Time to make games and change lifes!

A:...........where do i even begin?

C:Maybe the art?

A:The visuals are pretty good,i could tell there was surprisingly effort put into this and it wasn't just some cheap workaround.That said,there are a lot different styles colliding at once.There are basic red blocks with faces,pixelated background art,stick figures and the fonts are also different which makes the game looks like everything was kind of duct taped together.I could definitely guess you drew the stick figures and red blocks,but what about the background? 

C:booooooo ayry,booooo,the laziness meme is outmemed already.I just grabbed the backgrounds from somewhere on itch.io,i did want to draw everything myself but the background is too much for an old geezer like me.My back isnt that good after all these years of life that i devoted to this nation you know.

A:says the 5 year old guardian who was just asking for a pinky promise.

A:When i first saw the rainbow colored bullets,I was not sure if they were helpful or harmful,on the other hand the player's bullets are black and grey.Maybe you should make the player bullets rainbow colored and make the enemy bullets be a  dangerous color like red or black,so the player would subconsciously know to avoid them.

B:That's great feed back Ayry.But i cant do that.First,the sprites were already made and set for player and enemies.Enemy bullets fly very slow and have a long screen time while player bullets are the opposite.Second,the flashing RGB bullets make the player easy to identify while the player bullets are dark and grey which makes them pretty much invisble. It is important in shumps that enemy bullets are easily visible at all times,or else the player cannot dodge the bullets.

C:Third,RGB bullets are cooooooooo!My great Grandparent once said,

"a man without a heart of empathy,is not a man"

A:...........

C:What's wrong Ayry,where are your razor sharp remarks?

A:First,we dont have a grandparent,we are abandoned babies who were picked up by the grand chancellor.

Second,i am pretty sure you just added the heart of RGB thing yourself.

Third,if that were true,where do i resign my humanity?

C:Iunno,dio's supermarkets?

A:Last but not least,.............

nevermind.

A:The flashing bullets are a bit too vibrant for me,is there an option about that?

C:Yup,just press the escape key to go back to main menu.Then turn on the anti-seizure mode.It will make all the bullets and lasers flash slower!

C:You can also tune down the diffculity at the main menu if it was too hard,or crank it up a bit!

A:what about my progress though,your game does have an auto save,right?

c:kinda,the game remembers which stage you were in and then sends you back to that stage when you press continue.The quick save in visual novel segments is independent though.

A:visual novel?

c:you will see about that later.

A:So,what am i supposed to do here?

C:aw Ayry,arent you supposed to be smart?

A:I am smart,not omnipotent.There are 0 instructions on what to do here.

C:You are supposed to jump and shoot downwards to get over the big black boxes!

A:jump and shoot downwards?

c:Your gun pushes the player to the opposite of where its shooting,in layman terms,the gun has recoil.The level was designed to subtlely guide you to do that,but i guess it was too subtle.

C:so if you want to jump really high,you shoot at the floor first,then jump and keep shooting!

C:if you want to fall really fast,you shoot above the player!

A:I see,what's with the subtle guidance?

c:you were trained to shoot at red blocks and jump over spikes at level 0-1.so when you shoot at the red blocks on the ground and try to jump,you will perform a recoil jump without even realizing it.Theres also a ghost replay that shows you what to do visually.

A:Quite a lot behind the scenes i see.

A:I mean i did somehow figure out how the gun works,but shouldn't you make it clear to the player what is going on?
